Grmečica Canyon – Detailed Description
- Cross the bridge over the river
- Follow the cycling lane (walk on the right side for safety)
- Walk to the pool at the end of the canyon, then ascend the hill left of the pool (8 minutes uphill)
- Continue until reaching via ferrata ropes and the canyon’s entrance platform
- Start with Via Ferrata & Rappel
- Short via ferrata leads to the first anchor point
- 6 m rappel, 1 m jump into shallow water (bend knees)
- Fun Jumps and Natural Slides
- Swim across the pool to a 2–3 m jump – progression in height
- Continue to a 0.5 m natural slide into a pool
- Big Jump Sequence
- Via ferrata traverse to the next ledge
- 6 m jump – bend your knees for a smooth landing
- Scramble down slippery rocks and swim through connected pools
- Reach the slide/rappel combo down into another pool
