Canyon Predelica

Technical canyoning • 55 m rappel highlight • Triglav National Park

Location and Access

Predelica Canyon is one of Slovenia’s longest and most diverse canyons, located inside Triglav National Park, close to the Italian border near Predel Pass. Known for its challenging rappels, refreshing jumps, and scenic beauty, Predelica offers a true alpine canyoning experience.
From the Italy side, drive past Predel Pass until you see the large aerial bridge. If approaching from Bovec, follow the same road towards Italy. Two vehicles are required for the long version:

  • One car at the lower parking (same as Fratarica canyon).
  • Second car parked near the bridge at the upper starting point.

IMPORTANT:The long version of Predelica requires a canyoning permit for both upper and lower sections—each costs around 3 EUR and must be purchased before the trip.
